Guru Gobind Singh Institute of Technology and Management studies came into existence in July 1999 with a vision to impart quality management education, sharpen the analytical skills and to transform the overall persona of students into true professional of global dimensions. The institute is duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, Haryana Technical Education council and affiliated to Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. AICTE has increased its intake from 60 students in 1999 to 120 students in 2007.
