Research and Development Activities
Being a place of higher learning the institute is well aware of its responsibilities to promote research activities and to organize seminar, workshops and symposium etc. Its director Dr. D.S. Bhardwaj has successfully guided a dozen candidates at Ph. D. degree level besides publishing several research papers/ articles, organizing and attending national and international seminars and editing four books. Two candidates are at present register for Ph. D. under his supervision. Other young faculty members are also busy either in carrying their Ph. D. research work or writing research paper for leading journals.
The institute successfully organized a 3-day AICTE sponsored National Seminar ‘WTO Regime and Paradigm Shift in Indian Business’ on April 26-28, 2007. Further, a 2-day workshop ‘Trends and Challenges in Management Research’ is being organized by the institute on April-25-26, 2008. Thus, due importance is being given to research oriented activities by GGSITMS.
Girls Hostel
Hostel facilities are available for girls. There is hostel for girls. Indoor game facilities are made available to each hostel. Boarding, nominal mess charges are normally on the dividing system. The students seeking admission to the hostel shall submit application on prescribed form to the Chief Warden of the College at the start of the session. Admissions are made as per hostel rules and on first come first serve basis.
Dispensary
The Institute has engaged Dr. B.S. Gaba as its part time Doctor. He visits the Institute daily for at least one hour and regular health check-up of Students is carried out periodically.
Internet Facilities
We are having well furnished Computer Lab with latest Configurations and 24 hours internet facilities. All the students and faculty members have easy access to internet facilities.
Building Area
Total building area is 2526 Sq.m.
Library
There is rich library of the institute. Faculty members and students make full use of the various facilities available in the library. The students may make use of Library facility from 9am to 5pm.

Audio/Visual Theatre
Media Services are responsible for day to day audio visual services across the campus for lectures, seminars and conferences. There is a variety of equipments available for the use, of faculty staff members and students. Majority of them make good use of the facilities. Most of the teaching rooms have permanent AV and/or data facilities, which typically include Overhead Projector, 35mm Slide Projector, LCD projection from both video and data sources.
Seminar Room
There is a well furnished, spacious Seminar Hall equipped with audio- visual facilities for conducting workshops, group discussions, seminar, conferences and symposium etc.
Gym Hall
Gymnasium Hall is open to students, faculty, and staff for recreational volleyball, basketball, tennis and other activities.
Computer Labs
There are two well furnished Computer Labs in the Institute with latest 90 P-IV machines, connected with the server, Internet facility, Scanner, Printers, latest Training Software with 1:1 facility to the students.
Canteen
The canteen is situated on the campus. It serves cold drinks, tea, coffee, snacks and lunch etc. to the teaching faculty, sectarial staff and students on demand.
Placement Cells
The Institute has a Placement Cell headed by a Professionally Qualified and experienced person. It organizes campus and off campus interviews in consultation with the leading organization for the Training and Placement of MBA students.
Remedial Teaching
Periodical classes are organized with the help of professionals and guest faculty to improve the skill and overall personality of MBA students. Latest Teaching aids as LCD and OHP are used at various level to give professional touch to students, development program.
Code of conduct for students and faculty members, including professional ethics and social responsibilities is infact the real strength of GGSITMS
The institute receives overwhelming response from leading corporate houses and other organization for Training and Placement of the students.
Orientation Programs for fresh students are conducted frequently. Faculty members are also encouraged to attend UGC/AICTE sponsored orientation courses. Active support of MCA faculty of GNKITMS is taken to train our students for effective application of varied software packages.
Steps are taken to improve their spoken English, Vocabulary formation, good accent and excellent body language etc.
Industrial visits, Industry Academia Interface, Educational & Cultural and sports activities are quite common for our students. This kind of exposure is considered essential for their overall personalitydevelopment.
